Let's start by breaking down what each gift is, how it works and how I use it. I refer to myself as a Psychic Medium. Let me share the reason with you.
PSYCHIC : This is a term used in the dictionary as someone who is or is believed to be sensitive to nonphysical or supernatural forces. Now that I have shared the fancy version with you, it is this to me: All humans have the five senses that we use in everyday life. So do I. But unlike some, I kept my sixth sense open to a higher energy plane. For me, i have a higher knowing of things automatically. This is what helps me in my work. When it is fully open, I am able to receive information from something or someone. The fact is that every single person living today was born with their sixth sense open, but unfortunately as we get older society and reason block our born given gifts and we can no longer receive the signs and help given to us from our loved ones past. It is up to each one of us to awaken that which is sleeping, because it never really goes away you just need to flip the switch.
MEDIUM : This is explained as somebody believed to be transmitting messages between living people and passed over spirits. This is true. I can see and talk to spirits. They are as solid as a living person standing in front of me and they speak as clear as a living person.
IMPATH : Although I have not found a good definition for this word, for me it is another way that I aquire information from a spirit. When they come through to me, they may use a number of different ways. This one is used a lot by spirits in my case. Not every medium filters information this way. This means I can impath the emotions that they are feeling. Like anger, sadness, confusion, or pain. And yes, I said pain. If they died from cancer, I can feel their symptoms. Not always but most of the time. Murder or accidents...I can not only see a lot of their last thoughts but feel it all as well. Heart attacks or strokes can be painful and make me light headed. What ever they were feeling in their last moments of life is easily known to me. This helps me establish very quickly how they died and what they need from me.
Spirit Guids : They play the most vital role in understanding the spirits actions and moods for me. Sometimes the moods and the pain can get overwhelming. I have to ask my guides if it is something wrong with my physical body or if it is pain from a spirit They are always right there reassuring and clarifying for me the correct origin of the information. They also help me keep the information seperate. Sometimes while I am helping one spirit another one will get impatient and interrupt. I may have two different stories in my head and my guides help me to know which one to help first and how to ask the other one(s) to wait until their turn. I could not do half of the things I do without the help of these higher beings (Thanks guys!)
Bringing it all together : These are just a few of the factors that come in to play as I help an earthbound spirit. As a medium. I am talking one on one with the spirit. Then comes the feelings of impath which take me directly to the psychic sense. Then like a movie playing in my head, the energy of the spirit shows me what happened to them which led to their death. It helps when I get input from my guides as I help a spirit.
